Snowdonia Eye Vets, as part of Cibyn Veterinary Clinic, are able to provide you and your patients with a full ophthalmology referral service, allowing you to refer complex eye cases, with confidence.

The Snowdonia Eye Vets team provides Ophthalmic expertise within a friendly, supportive and respectful referral service.

A member of the ophthalmology team is always contactable via the on-call vets at Cibyn.

  • Ophthalmic microsurgery with Zeiss ophthalmic operating microscope
  • Cataract surgery/lendectomy by phaco-emulsification with the latest generation of Swiss made Oertli phaco-machines 
  • Prosthetic lens implantation including sutured lenses where required
  • Repair of prolapsed nictitans gland or scrolled nictitans cartilage
  • Glaucoma shunt surgery
  • Corneal debridement by diamond burr
  • Superficial Keratectomy
  • Corneo-Conjunctival Transposition surgery

Snowdonia Eye Vets are only able to examine patients that have been referred by a veterinary surgeon with a completed referral form and full medical history.
