The BVA eye panel investigates and certifies inherited eye conditions in pedigree dogs. Jill Hubbard has been on the BVA/KC/ISDS eye panel since 1977, achieved the RCVS ophthalmology certificate in 1983, and is kept updated by sitting an annual exam.

Anna Jackman has gained her Ceritifcate in Ophthalmology and is now dealing with eye cases and referrals.

The practice is extremely well equipped for eye-related work; operating microscope, slit lamp, retinal camera, tonovet and specialised surgical instruments. We are therefore able to help with the majority of eye cases. We are also happy to assess and refer those cases which need more specialised facilities e.g. phacoemulsification cataract surgery, or laser treatments. If in doubt phone for advice and discussion of the particular problem.

Any case that has been to another practice will only be seen after all the history is received from the 'home' practice.
